Hummune will be releasing their new album very soon!

The UK rock / metal band will be releasing their second album ‘Face The Fall’ on the 25th August. This will be the bands first studio release since forming in 2009. This follows their 2012 self-produced album "Crafted in Darkness".

‘Face the Fall’ was recorded and produced by Lewis Johns (previous work includes: Rolo Tomassi and Funeral for a Friend) at The Ranch Production House, Hampshire, UK and was mastered by Brad Boatright (previous work includes Sleep and High on Fire) at AudioSiege in Portland, Oregon.

Hummune bass player and vocalist, Mike, said: "We usually do things DIY and have always been pleased with results, but this time we approached Lewis Johns at The Ranch and asked him to produce the record. We wanted to raise our game and, now it's finished, we couldn't be happier with the results. This feels like a totally new chapter for us."

‘Face The Fall’ will feature eight tracks, see track list below:

-Sow More

-Deity

-Destroyer Of This Crown

-Vermillion

-Bastard Son Of Zeus

-Olive

-Trapped

-Face The Fall

‘Face The Fall’ is a rock infused metal release from the album, with a darker and edgier side to it. The release features pounding drums and chucky guitar riffs with the addition of aggressive and deep vocal tones.

The album is a hard-hitting release with a lot of power backing it, that can be slightly erratic. Despite only being an eight track album, there is still more than enough to sink your teeth into with most of the songs being five minutes and upwards.

If you like your music to have a heavy and solid sound, this will definitely be up your street.

You will be able to get your hands on the album via the bands Bandcamp page.

Keep up with Hummune via their Facebook and Twitter.
