It’s another new day, so why not another new release? My thoughts exactly!

Future Talk have released their debut EP ‘The Path That Sadness Paved’. The Gloucester based band is comprised of Alex Taylor (vocals), Jay McQuilkin (guitar), Jack Cadenhead (guitar) and Max Elderfield (drums).

“We all have an insatiable desire to create music, it’s a welcomed necessity for each of us.” explains guitarist Jay McQuilkin. “We want to become unavoidable so we’ve just got to get our heads down and work hard to achieve our goals.”

Future Talk formed in early 2014 from past projects. Over the past 12 months the band have played some great shows and worked with  Romesh Dodangoda (Funeral For a Friend, The Blackout, Motorhead) at Longwave Studios.

‘The Path That Sadness Paved’ will feature four tracks:

-Sleeping Pills

-Shadows Poet

-The Cliffs As A Reminder

-Fear Life

‘The Path That Sadness Paved’ is a must listen to release this summer! With the bands overall alternative sound,it’s a release you will have a hard time resisting with its hard hitting edgy sound, mixed with pounding drums and dynamic guitar riffs, its an excellent debut EP from the band.

Future Talk are a band that know how to write an emotion fuelled song but also one that deserves a sing along. Alex Taylor, vocals are definitely the stand out factor of this release, with a powerful backing that catches the song subjects so well.

Future Talk are a band that seem to have a very bright future ahead of them with a debut release this brilliant! So don’t miss out on this band, it would be a crime!
